Fraternity attends executive conference
Members of Slippery Rock University's Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity recently attended the Pi Kappa Alpha International Fraternity's Chapter Executives Conference in Memphis, Tennessee.
The conference featured three educational tracks, with one each for chapter presidents, treasurers and recruitment chairmen. Additionally, general sessions addressed bystander intervention, understanding personal values and servant-leadership.
Over the course of the conference, chapter leaders Neil Patterson, a senior from Malvern; Nathaniel Henkle, a junior from Tarentum; and Scott Vogelgesang, a sophomore from South Lake Tahoe, California, worked with professionals in the fields of organizational leadership, finance, talent acquisition, health and safety programming and marketing to help the trio better lead SRU's Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity chapter.
