Hahna honored with music therapy service award

Nicole Hahna, assistant professor of music therapy at Slippery Rock University was awarded the Mid-Atlantic Region American Music Therapy Association Service Award at the 2017 MAR-AMTA Conference in Rochester, New York.

Hahna was recognized for her state, regional and national service to the music therapy profession.

Her state service includes time as a member and co-chair of PA Task Force on Music Therapy; regional service as a Mid-Atlantic Region American Music Therapy Association for Students adviser and assembly delegate; and national service work as a Student Affairs Advisory Board chair for the American Music Therapy Association and as an AMTA council coordinator for professional practices.
