Trump presents at Salt Lake City dance show

Rosie Trump, a 2003 graduate of Slippery Rock University with a bachelor's degree in dance, will present "Fill In The Blank," at the Sugar Space Arts Warehouse in Salt Lake City, Utah, May 20-21.

The work is described as being full of word play as historical dance data, statistical puns and wacky partisan declarations comprise the soundtrack for a tongue-in-cheek dance revelry. "Fill in the Blank" explores the domestic, professional and political pressure surrounding the contemporary woman. Complex movement imagery waivers between thrashing and stately and the tone rides between irony and exigency in this show.

Trump's previous works has been presented at the Prague Fringe Festival; the Philadelphia Screendance Festival; the Comedy in Dance Festival (New York City); the Motion Captured Film Festival (Houston) and the Toothpaste Duets (London, Los Angeles).
