Rock scholars capture Outstanding Research award

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. ­- Jeremy Lynch, Slippery Rock University assistant professor of special education, and Danielle Dulik and Adelaide Aukamp, SRU elementary education graduate students from New Kensington and Pequea, won the Outstanding Research Presentation Award at the International Association of Special Education Conference in Wroclaw, Poland.

The team presented "Helping Students with Learning Disabilities to Think Mathematically."

An SRU student-faculty research grant funded the group's work.

The conference focused on new dimensions of special education and advocacy for students with special needs. Educators from North America and Europe participated.
