Ogoreuc rejoins National Water Safety Congress board

Robert Ogoreuc, assistant professor of physical and health education, has been elected to the National Water Safety Congress as a member at-large on its Board of Directors. Ogoreuc previously served on the NWSC board from 2006-12 and contributed to its Beyond Cold Water Boot Camp program, a workshop for first-responder educators of cold water rescues.
The NWSC is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting recreational water and boating safety. Organized in 1951, the NWSC was one of the first water safety organizations, and today is noted for its International Boating and Water Safety Summit and Cold Water Boot Camp USA.
