Austin named associate vice president for Penn State's OVPCC

Kelly Austin, a 2001 Slippery Rock University graduate with a master's degree in student personnel administration, has been named associate vice president for administration in the Office of the Vice President for Commonwealth Campuses at Penn State University.
As associate vice president, Austin will provide leadership and supervision in the administrative areas of strategic planning and implementation, budget planning and resource allocations, human resources, marketing, commonwealth campuses intercollegiate athletics and information technology across Penn State's 20 Commonwealth Campuses.
Austin, who also earned a bachelor's degree in business administration at SRU; an MBA from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University; and a doctorate in administrative and policy studies from the University of Pittsburgh, previously served as the chancellor at Penn State Schuylkill.
