SRU alumnus Maccoll named USF women's swimming coach

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. - Jon Maccoll, a 2007 political science graduate, has been named to lead the new women's swimming program at the University of Sioux Falls.

Maccoll, who has spent the past two years as recruiting coordinator and assistant coach with the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, was assistant coach and head recruiting coordinator for Queens University of Charlotte from 2010-13.

"I am honored to be chosen to lead the USF swimming program," said Maccoll. "The school's academic prestige, the city of Sioux Falls growth, and AD Snyder's vision for USF athletics are all linked together in a partnership pact for success. I am excited to play my part in that success, while creating an environment where future student-athletes can achieve their goals in the classroom, in the pool, and someday the board room," he said.
