Peacock receives leadership award
Ronald Peacock, a Slippery Rock University doctor of physical therapy student from Cincinnati, Ohio, has received the Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Association Student Leadership Award.
The award acknowledges a student who has already shown that they are on the path towards an active contribution to the American Physical Therapy Association on a local, state or national level as they transition to a professional member of the Association.
Peacock, who served as a clinical researcher and rehabilitation technician at Cincinnati Children's Medical Center, is currently preparing to take the certified strength and conditioning specialist exam. He is also pursuing a position on the American Physical Therapy Association board of directors.
The APTA will pick its board of directors at its October conference in Lancaster.
