Craig publishes historical book on KKK

John Craig, a Slippery Rock University professor emeritus of history, has written "The Ku Klux Klan in Western Pennsylvania, 1921-1928," published by Lehigh University Press.The narrative covers the Klan's initial appearance in the area in 1921 and its disappearance by 1928. Craig focused on the 25 western-most counties in the state, where the KKK was most active.

The book examines a variety of Klan activities, including two Klan rallies in Carnegie and Lilly. The book is available at amazon.com
