Professor emeritus creates two endowed scholarship

Oct. 11, 2017

Larry Rotge, professor emeritus of history at Slippery Rock University, and his wife, Ann Marie, created two new endowed scholarships in honor of late faculty and staff from the SRU History Department.

The Rev. Dr. Clarie Settlemire Memorial Scholarship, honoring the late professor emerita, who taught at SRU from 1968-2002, will provide SRU history majors funding to study abroad. The second scholarship, the Donna McKee Memorial Scholarship, is a student service award named for the late administrative assistant who served the department for 37 years.

Additionally, the Rotges made generous contributions to existing scholarships honoring additional faculty and staff who have retired.
