Katchmarchi earns Drowning Prevention Alliance presidency


Adam Katchmarchi, a 2012 Slippery Rock University graduate with a bachelor's degree in physical education, has been named president of the National Drowning Prevention Alliance.

The mission of the NDPA is to prevent drowning and aquatic injuries, by leading, engaging, and supporting our members, chapters, and partners.

Katchmarchi, a licensed EMT, holds provider, instructor and trainer certifications from multiple organizations, including the American Red Cross Instructor Trainer Certification in Lifeguarding and Water Safety; as well as the National Swimming Pool Foundation Instructor Certification.
