'14 graduate presents research in China


SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. - Daniel Arnett, a 2014 Slippery Rock University computer science graduate, recently presented at the World Economic Forum New Champions Summit in Dalian, China.

Arnett, a doctorate candidate at Carnegie Mellon University, presented on his contribution to "Andy," a four-wheel lunar rover CMU students designed. Arnett is working on developing rover routes on the moon's poles.

The World Economic Forum focused on technology's potential to spur growth. Participants presented on science and technology innovation.

At SRU, Arnett researched and built robots and drones and led planetarium shows.
