Thangiah chairs conference session


SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. - Sam Thangiah, Slippery Rock University professor of computer science, was selected to chair a session at the INFORMS 2015 Conference in Philadelphia.

Thangiah chaired "Intelligent Heuristics and Systems." Heuristics is a system for solving computer science problems more quickly. 

The INFORMS meeting brought more than 5,000 academics, students and industry leaders together for research presentations, discussion and tutorials.
