ROCK UNIVERSITY PLANS TOWN HALL MEETING ON RACE RELATIONS SET FOR
NEW CASTLE
SLIPPERY
ROCK, Pa. – A “Town Hall Meeting on Race
Relations,” sponsored by the New Castle Branch of the NAACP
and Slippery Rock University will be held at 7 p.m. Nov. 22 in
Ebenezer Church of God in Christ,
1119 S. Jefferson St., New Castle.
The public is
invited to the session, which is part of the university’s
50-year commemoration of the Brown v. Board of Education landmark
Supreme Court decision of 1954.
Dr. Renay
Scales, assistant vice president for human resources and diversity
at SRU, and Sandra Stevenson, assistant director of diversity and
staff training, will facilitate the discussion.
