SRU’S OLD STONE HOUSE TO OFFER HOLIDAY DECORATIONS, IDEAS DEC. 3-5

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The traditional “Old Stone House Christmas Open House” will be offered at one of Butler County’s most recognized landmarks from 5 to 9 p.m. Dec. 3-4 and from noon to 4 p.m. Dec. 5.

The Old Stone House, owned by Slippery Rock University, will again offer season cheer, a glowing hearth and refreshments with each room of the former inn decorated in the holiday spirit found during the days of the Civil War. The floral and other holiday displays seen will be available for purchase and will provide visitors with ideas for their own decorating.

The Old Stone House is located at the intersection of routes 8, 173 and 528, 12 miles north of Butler.
