KURT HEINZ SCHOLARSHIP
Slippery Rock University

The Kurt Heinz Scholarship was established in 2002 to benefit students majoring within the School of Business at Slippery Rock University. The $1,000 scholarship shall provide funds for tuition, room and board, and other fees to eligible students.

1. A cover letter indicating your intent to apply for the Kurt Heinz Scholarship.

2. A recent copy of your resume that includes your contact address, phone number, and email. Please also include information on your major, QPA (overall and major), number of credits completed at SRU, and current class standing (Fr, So, Jr, Sr).

3. A brief 1-2 page typed essay justifying your candidacy for the award including a brief discussion of your academic progress at SRU and financial need.

4. You must work in a college-sponsored work-study program. Preference will be given to a student who is employed in work-study or part-time employment by the University, or shows proof of outside employment.

5. Money is to be used for tuition, room and board, books, and fees only.
