SRU GRADUATE CLASS TO HOST FOURTH
ANNUAL
SPORT MANAGEMENT GOLF
TOURNAMENT
SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. --
The Slippery Rock University sport marketing graduate class will
host its fourth annual Sport Management Scholarship Golf
Outing April 29 at the Tam O’Shanter Golf Course in
Hermitage.
Funds from the
tournament, which will begin with registration at 8 a.m. and a
shotgun start at 9 a.m., will be used to raise money for the Sport
Management Scholarship Fund. The scholarship is given to a
sport management student annually.
Members of the sport
marketing graduate class will be seeking donations and sponsorships
from sport organizations and local businesses to help raise
money.
Cost for participation is $50 for students; $75
for the public. Registration includes greens fees for 18 holes,
breakfast, including doughnuts and juice, lunch at the turn, a
buffet-style dinner at Quaker Steak and Lube in Sharon, and a
chance at various prizes during dinner.
Prizes will also be
given for those who win the putting, longest drive and closest to
the pin contests.
