CABARET NIGHT SET FOR 8 P.M. FRIDAY AT SRU;
EVENING OF SHOW TUNES AND INSTRUMENTAL COMBO TO RAISE SCHOLARSHIP
MONEY
SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. -- In order
to raise scholarship money for music students, the Slippery Rock
University Chamber Singers will perform show tunes and jazz pieces
during a cabaret night at 8 p.m. Friday at Russell Wright Alumni
House on the SRU campus. An instrumental combo will also
perform.
Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for students
and should be purchased by calling Kevin Smith, assistant professor
of music, at 724-738-2451. Remaining tickets will be sold at the
door. Light refreshments will be served.
