- If you don't, you risk appearing uninterested. Prepare a few
questions in advance, but above all, ask questions that show a
response to what you have learned from the interviewer. Questions
should be lively rather than formulaic. See the section on Questions to Ask an Interviewer for examples of
questions you might ask in an interview.

- Be sure to let the interviewer know if you are interested in
the position. Ask what the follow-up procedure will be, that you
look forward to hearing from them, and thank the interviewer for
his or her time. Again, a firm handshake and a confident
smile can go a long way.
