»	SRU Student Government Association Child Day Care to Offer 'Spotlight on Arts' Summer Camp SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – A weeklong “Spotlight on the Arts” summer day-camp will be offered by the Slippery Rock University Student Government Association Child Care Center Aug. 1-5 offering programs in art, music, theater and dance to those ages 3 to 6 and those ages 6-12.
»	Camp for Children with Visual Impairments Set for June 22-15 at SRU SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – Horseback riding will be the new event when up to 40 blind or visually impaired children from western Pennsylvania and Ohio come to Slippery Rock University June 22-25 for Camp SportsVision. They will participate in 10 sports.

Smith explain the challenge of overcoming a more than $4 million shortfall for 2005-06 from expected lower state appropriations and the governor’s desire for the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education Board of Governors to not raise tuition.

»	SRU Council of Trustees to Meet Friday at Regional Learning Alliance, Wexford A quick reminder that the Slippery Rock University Council of Trustees will hold its regular, quarterly meeting at 1:30 p.m. Friday (June 10). The session will be held at the Regional Learning Alliance facility in Wexford (rather than the traditional meeting place of Old Main on the SRU campus) to allow trustees to tour the new facility.
