The School of Business is located within the College of Business, Information, and Social Sciences. With the Bachelor's in Business Administration (BSBA) in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Health Services Management, Human Resources Management, International Business, Management and Marketing as well as the Bachelor's of Science (BS) degree in Economics, an undergraduate education at Slippery Rock University's School of Business is designed to enable students to combine business education with a solid foundation in the liberal arts. Certificate programs are also offered in Accounting and Personal Financial Planning.

Our courses have a low student-to-faculty ratio. this ensures that there are excellent opportunities for interaction with professors and faculty advisors. All of our courses are taught by professors, not teaching assistants. Most of our faculty are doctorally prepared in their disciplines. Many of them are regionally, nationally, and internationally recognized for their research and corporate consulting.

All of our classrooms are equipped with state-of-the-art technology to enhance teaching and learning. An advisory board of corporate leaders and alumni representatives of all types of profit and not-for-profit businesses, organizations, and healthcare institutions are actively engaged in shaping our policies and providing corporate connections for our students.
