Slippery Rock University invites applications for anticipated secretarial positions (clerk typist 1 and 2) in a variety of departments.  The pool of selected applicants will be used to fill vacancies as they arise. The available positions may be regular or temporary. 

Qualifications: Applicants must pass a computerized typing test of 40 WPM prior to interview. Successful performance in an on-campus interview required.  Clerk typist 2 positions also require six months as a clerk typist or any combination of six months clerical experience and training.    Experience in the following areas preferred:  Microsoft Office and database management; web maintenance; budget maintenance and use of SAP program; developing and maintaining a filing system; ordering and maintaining office supplies; and working with diverse populations.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-task are also preferred.
