Spring 2006 Student Teacher Action Research Celebration

View an Introduction to Action Research
As part of their professional development, the teacher candidates in PDS schools are required to do an Action Research project. Teaching is a profession, which means that the practice of teaching is based on research with the best interest of the client in mind.  The aim of all instructional decisions must be to positively impact student learning.  To aid teacher candidates in their professional development, implementing an action research project will engage them in developing an instructional plan, based on research, with the end resulting in improvement of student learning.
