Cecelia Garton
Mrs. Cecelia Garton
received a bachelor's degree in education from Clarion, and then
she continued her education at Gannon where she received her
masters. Altogether, Cecelia has 24 years of teaching experience.
She currently teaches in Sharon Middle/High School, with this
being her twentieth year in the district. She has loved these
20 years working with middle-school aged children. She
resides with her husband, two cats, and dog. |

Laura
Harper
Miss Laura Harper teaches 4th
grade at C.M. Musser Elementary School. This is her fourth
year teaching in Sharon, and sixth year of her teaching career.
She taught 5th grade in Champion, OH for one year and 5th
grade in Taylorsville, NC for one year prior to coming to Sharon
City School District. She graduated from Grove City College
with a degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education.
Also, she has a master's degree in reading from Westminster
College. She is the drill team advisor at Hickory High School
as well. |

Nanci
Kleese
Nanci Kleese is
originally from Washington, Iowa. For 5 year, she directed
Youth Ministries at Highland Presbyterian Church in New Castle, PA.
She has been teaching English for 6 1/2 years and is
currently the Acting Assistant Principal at Sharon Middle/High
School. Ms. Kleese earned a B.A. in English/Secondary
Education from Westminster College and played volleyball for
Westminster all four years. She obtained her Masters in
Education in Administration from Westminster College. She
also belongs to two professional organizations: The National
Council on Teachers of English and The Association for Curriculum
and Supervision Development. |

Maria
Rodenbaugh
Mrs. Rodenbaugh received a BA
in English from Westminster College 1998. She earned a
Masters of Education in Counselor Education from Westminster
College in 2003. This is her sixth year of full-time
teaching: three years at Reynolds Jr./Sr. High School and
three years at Sharon Middle-High School. She currently
teaches 7th grade English and 8th grade Language Arts. She
has taught English/Language Arts for grades 7, 8, 11 & 12 and
composition grades 9-12 mix. She teaches using a balanced
literary, reading, and writing workshop approach. She is
married to a wonderful man, Phil, and she has a beautiful daughter,
Anna, age 2.

Amy
Simpson
Amy Sniezek-Simpson has been
a teacher in Sharon City School District for 12 years. After
attending Slippery Rock University to earn her bachelors degrees in
elementary and special education and her masters in reading, she
attended Edinboro University and Westminster College to become
trained in Reading Recovery and earned her administration
certification. She has been a special education teacher,
Reading Recovery teacher, and is currently the literacy coach at
C.M. Musser Elementary School. Amy also presents at many
conferences and inservice days statewide on various literacy
topics. Amy has earned several awards throughout her teaching
career. She was honored by the Industrial Information
Institute as an Outstanding Teacher in 2003. She received a
Class Act Teacher Award from WFMJ after being nominated by a
colleague in 2005 and was Teacher Excellence Center nominee in
2006. |
