assistance are available at the Counseling Center?
The majority of students who seek
counseling services are dealing with normal developmental concerns
that accompany the college experience. These include, but are not
limited to:
- Adjusting to live at SRU
- Stress or Anxiety
- Alcohol or drug abuse
- Test anxiety
- Eating disorder
- Depression
- Grief
- Abuse issues (physica, sexual,
emotional)
- Academic or learning
difficulties
- Low self-esteem
- Communication skills
- Gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender
concerns
- Relationship concerns (romantic, roommate,
family and friends)
