SRU PIANO STUDENTS TO OFFER AFTERNOON OF DUETS SUNDAY IN SWOPE MUSIC HALL

     SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – Piano duets students in Dr. Nanette Kaplan Solomon’s classes at Slippery Rock University will offer a “Piano Extravaganza” at 4 p.m. Sunday [May 7] in Swope Recital Hall, featuring works by a wide range of composers including Mozart, Brahms, Dello Joio and Rachmaninoff.

     Students participating will include Erica Arnold of Reinholds, Bonnie Jean Buzzard of Munhall, Rachel Falk, Inna July and Ryan Griffin, both of Pittsburgh, Christine Fry of Strausburg, Ellen Gross of Emmaus, Maegan Hunt of Beaver Falls, Bethany McGeary of Altoona, Ai Sato of Miyagi, Japan, William Weltman of New Castle, Hillary Williams of Ellwood City, and Andrea Zahuranec of Polk. 

      Dr. Bradley Wilson, associate professor of philosophy, will also perform.

     The recital is $3 for adults; free for children and students.
