SSG Benjamin Stewart joined the Pennsylvania Army National Guard May 17^th, 1999.  He attended Basic Training in the summer of 1999 and then his Advanced Individual Training for Field Artillery Fire Direction Control in the summer of 2000.  Since then SSG Stewart has crossed trained as a Military Policeman and been deployed twice.  Once in 2003 under Operation Enduring Freedom to Europe, and the second time in late 2004 under Operation Iraqi Freedom to Mosul, Iraq.  He completed his Recruiting and Retention School in November of 2005 and has been recruiting for the PA Army National Guard since.  SSG Stewart joined the ROTC at Slippery Rock University on June 12^th, 2006.
