The faculty, staff and administration of the College of Humanities, Fine and Performing Arts are dedicated to the best of the liberal arts tradition in the context of the 21^st Century's global and diverse society.  

As an attempt to free humankind from fear, oppression and superstition, the noble ideals of the liberal arts tradition are as relevant and applicable today as they were at their inception, in the earliest universities of the Middle Ages.  The academic programs in the College of Humanities, Fine and Performing Arts offer students the opportunity to expand their creative and intellectual horizons, explore new areas of knowledge and prepare for their chosen careers in a caring community of life-long learners.
