SRU faculty group plans Chinese New Year celebration

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – A 2008 Chinese New Year Celebration will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Feb. 9 at the  Newman Center. Slippery Rock University’s new Chinese Culture Association and the Modern China Group are sponsoring the event.

           Activities will include a Chinese New Year-related speech, Tai Chi, singing, paper cutout, and other Chinese culture-related activities and games with prizes. Chinese finger food will be served.
