Slippery Rock University is seeking applicants for a full-time Coordinator of Judicial Programs (SUA 1) in the Student Life Division. Starting salary: $35,110 plus competitive benefits package.
Responsibilities: Reporting to the Director of Judicial Programs, the Coordinator position responsibilities include: administer the Student Code of Conduct; investigate alleged code violations; conduct hearings to determine appropriate disciplinary action; maintain disciplinary records in accordance with FERPA and SRU policies; work in conjunction with SRU, municipal and State Police agencies; represent SRU at emergencies/incidents on and off campus; work with community support agencies. Other duties include, training of hearing board members, educational programming, and development of student learning outcomes, and working with student leaders/organizations to implement collaborative events.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education, professional experience in a higher education setting, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, excellent verbal, written, and analytical skills and the ability to work with diverse populations are required. Successful performance on an on-campus interview is also required.
Master’s degree, knowledge of judicial issues in higher education and experience in facilitating administrative hearings are preferred.
