Slippery Rock University is seeking applicants for a full-time, environmental educator at the McKeever Environmental Learning Center (a State University Administrator I position), located in Sandy Lake, PA, approximately 70 miles north of Pittsburgh.  Starting salary $35,110 plus competitive benefits package.

Qualifications:  A bachelor’s degree in Environmental Education, Environmental Studies or a related field, a minimum two years experience in earth education programs (such as Earthkeepers and Sunship Earth), and extensive experience working at a residential environmental education center are required.  Successful performance in an on campus interview is required. Experience planning, organizing and directing environmental programs and activities are required.  Ability to work a flexible schedule, experience working with diverse populations and excellent oral and written communication skills are preferred. 

Successful candidate must obtain Act 34 and 151 clearances and valid PA license by time of hire.
