*What You Missed In TLTR*
October 14, 2008: CETET
*TLTR has supplied the faculty with great information on CETET and the merging of TLTR to CETET in addition to how TLTLR can benefit. Some meeting highlights include:
- Taskforces: Will be sending out Grant Information this week (by October 17th, 2008) for Grant Committee Members to Review!
- Please review and edit document and return through e-mail by the middle of the following week
- Would eventually like to set up presentations for Professional Development Day in 2009 or submit to the CETET Newsletter to promote campus wide initiatives!
- Dr. Kathleen Strickland spoke on the merging of TLTR and CETET and how CETET can benefit the campus and TLTR
- Teaching Circles - Help those with common interest get together and discuss issue related to that department, topic, course, or field of interest
- Teaching Partners - Allows professors new to the campus or course to team up with experienced colleagues to assist in teaching - Provide guidance to those who request help!
- Hopefully help the faculty and stuff to find a refound excitement in what they do!

September 23, 2008; "What's New? BlackBoard 7.3"
*TLTR has supplied the faculty with great information with this first meeting of the year! Some of the meeting highlights include:
- TLTR is looking for new members for the TLTR Grant Committee! This is your chance to be heard!!

- Brian Danielson spoke on many great ways to help faculty and staff navigate in BlackBoard 7.3. Topics of interest were:
- Discussion Board
- E-mail (announcements)
- Blogs/Wikis
- Performance BlackBoard
- Customizing your BlackBoard (toolbar, appearance, navigation)
- TLTR's next meeting is on October 14, 2008!
