SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – Tine Hansen-Turton, chief executive officer of National Nursing Centers Consortium and vice president of Health Care Access and Policy at Public Health Management Corp., was awarded the Sharp Cutting Edge Award by the American College of Nurse Practitioners. Hansen-Turton is a 1992 graduate of Slippery Rock University and studied here as an international student from Denmark.

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – Slippery Rock University students will mark the 20th anniversary of World AIDS Day by forming a human red ribbon to remind people that HIV/Aids has not disappeared. World AIDS Day, which started Dec. 1, 1998, is focused on raising money, increasing awareness, fighting prejudice and improving education.
