SRU graduate heads Air Force fitness program in Turkey
SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – Seth Jenny, a 2002 Slippery Rock University graduate, has been appointed exercise physiologist and fitness program manager at Incirlik Air Force Base in Turkey.
Jenny, who earned his degree in health and physical education, recently won the Base Biathlon for the Great American Smoke Out. The race is a combination of running and bicycling.
While at The Rock, he was captain of the cross country team and ran track and was also the Student Government Association vice president of advancement.
Following graduation from SRU, he earned his master's degree in performance coaching at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. He has hiked the entire 2,200 mile Appalachian Trail from Springer Mountain, Ga., to Mount Khatadin, Maine.
