SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa.  -- (Fill in number) area students were among those graduating from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania at winter commencement where U.S. Navy Capt. Kathlene Contres, commandant of the U.S. Navy’s Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute and a 1977 SRU graduate, delivered the commencement address.
