To the campus community:

As of 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 28 power was restored to the lower campus with the exception of the ARC. Important information you should know:

• The Rescheduled Finals Exam schedule for April 28 distributed earlier today via e-mail and the Web remains in effect. Please follow that schedule. A copy is easily accessible on the homepage.
• For exams Wednesday through Saturday follow the regular schedule.
• For students on dining contracts: Dinner this evening will be in Weisenfluh until 8 p.m.
• Dining services will resume normal hours at all dining venues effective Wednesday, April 29.
• Computer labs in Maltby, McKay and the Behavioral Science Building will be available 24/7 for the remainder of exam week.
• Due to continuing electrical problems in the ARC, it will close tonight, April 28 at 8 p.m. The ARC will have limited hours and activities the remainder of the week.

We want to thank everyone for their patience in dealing with the power disruption. Please continue to check the Website for updates throughout the week.

To the University community:

Unfortunately, we have a severe power outage to the lower campus that is not likely to be repaired before the end of the day, April 28. All classroom buildings, the library, ARC, and all residence halls on the lower campus are without power.

As a consequence, all exams from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. scheduled for Tuesday, April 28 will be rescheduled for one of the remaining days in the week. Those exams on Tuesday, April 28 beginning at 3:30 p.m. until 10 p.m. will meet as scheduled but the specific room assignment may change. Room assignments and the revised exam schedule will be posted as soon as possible on the web, via e-mail and in buildings on campus.

Weisenfluh Dining Hall will be open for meals.

April 27, 2009; 10:23 p.m.

The power remains out on lower campus. Crews on-site. Weisenfluh will be open from 11:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. for quiet studying tonight. Please continue to check the Web site for updates.

NOTE: If you are on a meal plan, breakfast will be served in the morning at Weisenfluh. Boozel is closed.

SRU Campus:

There is a power outage on the lower campus. The situation is under review at this time. We will provide an update on the situation in an hour. The upper campus is not affected. If faculty need to copy materials for classes, please contact the Provost’s Office.
