SRU graduate heads career services at Lehigh Carbon

 

Christina L. Moyer, a 1993 political science graduate of Slippery Rock University, has been named director of career services at Lehigh Carbon Community College in Schnecksville.    

     The director of career services oversees both on- and off-campus job placement as well as all internship programs, job fairs and campus job recruitment. The position also tracks student employment and skill development.

     Most recently she had served as acting director of career services at Lehigh Valley College. She previously worked in Denver as a marketing manager at Allen Lewis Inc. and had served as retail and attractions manager at Six Flags America in Largo, Md.

     In addition, Moyer has worked as assistant manager of merchandising at Dorney Park and as director of merchandising, promotions and licensing for the Bethlehem Musikfest Association, now known as “ArtsQuest.”

     She makes her home in Alburtis.
