SRU Good News for June 16, 2009

 

St. Edward’s University names Cooper assistant athletic director

 

Greg Cooper, a 2008 Slippery Rock University sport management master’s graduate, has been named assistant athletic director for facilities and event management at St. Edward’s University.

Cooper joins St. Edward's after serving a year as a game operations intern at Miami (Ohio) University. While at Miami, he oversaw all guest operations and security for football, men's and women's basketball, and ice hockey. He also oversaw parking operations and credentialing. Cooper was game operations manager for softball, volleyball and women's soccer.

Previously, Cooper was a graduate assistant in the SRU athletic department.

He earned his bachelor's degree in sport management from Otterbein College where he was a four-year basketball letter winner.
