b. Keister Road Crossing – Barbara Westman
i. Westman reported that she met with Provost Williams, who mentioned that the issue will be discussed in the next Cabinet meeting. Since then, there is nothing new to report. Katie Cooklin revisited the history of the issue for the new members and explained that there has been a concern about safety. Recently, a student was almost struck by a car while trying to cross the road to attend class. Unhae Langis suggested a petition to the borough. Lalanda Stromp offered to help Westman.
V. New Business
a. Katie Cooklin asked everyone to bring in student representatives.
b. Michael Conlon suggested the election of standing committees.
c. Philip Tramdack presented a forthcoming expansion project for Bailey Library. General information was presented and any interested parties were asked to contact Tramdack. The project was allotted 44 million dollars and is projected to begin in 2013. Tramdack believes that the University Forum is a great venue to generate ideas and feedback for the expansion project. If there are suggestions please communicate them to Tramdack.
