The university, and hence the college, is accredited by the Middle States Association of Secondary Schools and Colleges. The college has two accredited programs:

     1.   The social work program is accredited by CSWE , the Council on Social Work Education

       2.    The computer science department is accredited by ABET for both the computer science and information systems programs.

Accredited programs indicate that these departments have earned excellence by providing the highest standards in the discipline based on a rigorous peer review process. Achieving accreditation indicates that these departments have demonstrated excellence in teaching, provide curriculum that demonstrates best practices and that the departments have a continuous improvement process to assure quality.

•  The business administration program is seeking accreditation from AACSB , the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.

These associations are recognized as speaking to the quality of the academic programs of the institution.
