Rock University’s Robert N. Aebersold Student Recreation
Center will host a National Wheelchair Basketball Association
tournament Saturday and Sunday [Oct. 19-20], including the
inaugural game of a new women's team, the Steel City Starz. The
tournament will offer excellent feature story/photo
opportunities.
Organized
by SRU finance major Norah Schneider of Slippery Rock, The Starz
will play the Allegheny Mountain Rolling Thunder at 5:30 p.m.
Saturday at the recreation center. (Admission is free.) Five other
games are scheduled for throughout Saturday (10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.)
and Sunday (9 a.m. to noon).
