Library Catalog

Students may access each library’s catalog from the home through the Libraries home pages.  The Clarion University Libraries home page can be found at http://www.clarion.edu/library. The Edinboro University home page can be found at http://www.edinboro.edu. The Slippery Rock University home page can be found at http://www.sru.edu. From the library home pages, students are directed to various links such as library information, the library catalog, online journals, reference web sites, and other academic links.

The online catalog and databases, as well as the interlibrary loan service, can be accessed from the Slippery Rock University and Edinboro University library homepage.  Select “Library” from the Slippery Rock University homepage.  Select “Academics and Research” and then “Baron-Forness Library” from the Edinboro University home page. Those databases that are restricted will require the bar code number on your identification card (number only, no letters).  Please note that some databases are only accessible from computers in both libraries.

Online Journals

Online journals and other digital databases can be accessed from home via the library home pages.  In order to access Slippery Rock online databases from home, students must have their student ID’s validated at the Slippery Rock University Library reference desk.  All students have automatic access to Clarion and Edinboro Universities digital databases when they are registered for classes (see Appendix F for additional Online information).

Interlibrary Loan Request

Requests for interlibrary loans can be placed from Clarion, Edinboro and Slippery Rock Universities Libraries’ home pages.  Students should request interlibrary loans from the campus at which they are attending classes.
