LICENSE REQUIREMENTS TO OPERATE UNIVERSITY_OWNED VEHICLES
Policy #F&P-4830-05

Purpose
To assure that all Commonwealth licensed and insured vehicles will be operated in a legal manner and in accordance with the requirements of the Bureau of Risk and Insurance Management (BRIM), the University's vehicular insurance agency.
 
Objective
A. To provide for the legal operation of University-owned vehicles.

B. To comply with insurance and liability requirements.
 
Policy
Drivers of any Commonwealth licensed and/or insured vehicle shall have a current, valid Pennsylvania driver's license with no suspensions.  This license shall be for the classification of the vehicle being operated.  All conditions, restrictions and suspensions stated against such license shall apply to the operation of University-owned vehicles.
