PLANNING MEETING SLATED FOR SLIPPERY ROCK FARMER’S MARKET

           SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The success of last year’s Slippery Rock Farmer’s Market, organized by Slippery Rock University students, has prompted organizers to again establish the market for the upcoming growing season.

          Interested growers, gardeners and craftspeople are invited to a 7 p.m. Feb. 10 planning meet to be held at the university’s Robert A. Macoskey Center for Sustainable Systems Education and Research, 247 Harmony Road.

          The meeting will include discussions of market dates. Those needing more information should contact Heather Mikulas, an SRU graduate student in sustainable systems, at 724-738-0606.
