Criteria: Physical Education major. First preference to freshman students who graduated from a Beaver County secondary school, and to women. Should there be no qualified applicant from Beaver County, the scholarship will be available to all students majoring in Physical Education who have completed at least one full academic year at SRU. The student must be full-time and maintaining traditional academic progress. A combination of athletic ability or appreciation of athletics, academic achievement, and financial need (in that order). Community service is also a consideration. Minimum 3.0 grade point average.
