- Remain calm
- Pull nearest fire alarm or call police
- If small fire attempt to extinguish-do not jeopardize personal safety
- Evacuate if you can not extinguish fire
- Do not permit fire to come between you and the exit
- Do not open a hot door - feel top of door or knob before opening at top
- Do not use elevators
- Do not attempt to save possessions
- Go to pre-established assembly area
- Identify unaccounted persons
- If there is smoke in the corridors stay low to floor and/or cover face with a damp towel
- Do not return until told to do so by police
