Reporters who need an expert source on the
conflict with Iraq may contact Dr. Daniel McIntosh, government and
public affairs faculty at Slippery Rock University. He can provide
an assessment of the potential for terrorism in the U.S. if America
invades Iraq. He can also comment on the war itself and the
legal maneuvering in and around the United Nations. Dr. McIntosh
has studied and written papers on Al-Qaeda.His areas of specialty
include international security and political economy. He is on
campus fulltime.

Dr.
McIntosh is director of SRU's minor in international affairs. He
teaches international affairsinternational relations and
international law. He has also studied terrorism in Southeast Asia
and serves asadviser to The Rock's Model United Nations Club
and Sigma Iota Rho honor society in international
relations.
