Blue Key Honor Society --Dr. Andrew Colvin x4996

The purpose of Blue Key is to find men and women who value and exemplify the virtues of scholarship, leadership, service and integrity and who come together for the purpose of doing community service. Membership is open to second semester sophomores, juniors, seniors and graduate students with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Geography & Environmental Studies/GTU (Gamma Theta Upsilon)--- Dr .Xianfeng Chen x2385

The purpose is to inform and bring enviromental awareness and geographical knowledge to student within the major and all students.

Delta Alpha Chi  -- Dr. Melissa Rychener x4873

An honorary for student personnel majors providing opportunities for personal and professional growth for graduate students majoring in student personnel through formal and social gatherings and sharing of knowledge and experience.

Golden Key International Honour Society-    Dr. Brad Wilson x2379

Golden Key is an internationally recognized honor society that is commited to scholarship, career development, leadership, and service.  Through the organization these ideals are reinforced and enhanced.

Order of Omega  -- Mr. Charlie Judge x2724

Order of Omega is a Greek honorary. Individuals are selected into membership based upon scholarship, campus involvement, leadership, service to community and character. The organization hosts a leadership symposium each semester and gets involved in various philanthropic activities.

Phi Alpha Theta  -- Dr. Carlis White x4912

As the history honorary, Phi Alpha Theta's purpose is to promote the study of history through the encouragement of research, teaching, publications and the intellectual exchange of ideas.

Phi Sigma Pi  -- Dr. Jeff Lynn x2823

A co-ed honor fraternity dedicated to the ideals of scholarship, leadership, and fellowship, pursuing these ideals through academic performance, community service,etc. Activities include service projects, academic events on campus, and social events within the Fraternity and community.

 Phi Sigma Tau  -- Dr. Richard Findler x2378

Established in 1984, Phi Sigma Tau's goal is to honor academic excellence and philosophical concern and to encourage a professional spirit and interest among those who have displayed a marked ability in philosophy.

Pi Delta Phi --  Dr. Tsuquiashi-Daddesio x2400

The Slippery Rock chapter of the French honorary has been in existence since 1963 with the primary aim being to recognize excellence in French studies. Students must have completed one French course at the 300 level, maintain a 3.0 in French and have an overall QPA of 2.9.

Psi Chi  -- Dr. Jennifer Sanftner x2717

Psi Chi aims to provide academic prestige to members by high standards for eligibility, to offer a congenial climate for professional growth, and to make active attempts at nourishing and stimulating growth. Psychology promotion at the graduate level and recognition of outstanding academic record.

Sigma Gamma Epsilon (Geology)  -- Dr. Tamra Schiappa x2829

This is a National Geology Fraternity that helps within the Slippery Rock Community.

Tau Sigma National Honor Society (Transfer Students)-- Ms. Cathie Sadler x2719

Specifically geared to support the successful academic transition of tranfer students.
