Skeletal Muscle (transverse section)


Skeletal Muscle in transverse section is seen below.   The fibers (F are grouped into bundles called fascicles.  The nuclei (N) are located on the periphery of each cell  and a single fiber may have one or more nuclei.  Again we can see fibers of the perimysium (P) which binds the fascicles together.
