Liberal Arts Philosophy Major
The Liberal Arts Major in Philosophy is a 30-credit hour program
for students seeking a broad understanding of human existence,
focusing on either the Humanities and Fine Arts (HFA), the Social
and Behavioral Sciences (SBS), or the Natural Sciences and
Mathematics (NSM). The program involves four required core courses,
three courses chosen from on of the three tracks, and the remaining
courses chosen from any of the department's offerings. It is also
recomended that an independent study be done on a topic of the
student's intrest.

the track requirements.
